Balcones opened in December 2016 with 11 newly renovated vacation apartments: eight studios and two one-bedroom units. Some apartments can be combined via double locking hotel doors to make up to four total two bedroom units. The building has a rooftop social area and mirador with fabulous views of the city!
There is general information & views in the slideshow below.
These second and third floor (walk up) apartments have great amenities, including air conditioning, dedicated broadband WiFi, DirecTV, kitchenettes, safe, hair dryer, linens, towels (dish, hand, bath and beach), hot water in the showers and sinks (not all places in Cartagena have this!), rooftop views, and more! Most apartments will have balconies also looking out on to either Calle de la Moneda or Calle Segunda de Badillo (or both!).
Each apartment has a double bed; the one bedroom units have a double sofa bed as well. There are links to photos and descriptions of individual apartments in the Balcones drop down menu above. Don’t hesitate to ask me if you have questions!
We can also provide optional tour guide, laundry, and housecleaning services.
A clothing store, Tennis, is on the ground floor of the building. There is a door from the street with stairs to apartment floors which guests will share. Guests will have the key to this main door as well as to their own individual apartment.
Upon arrival in Cartagena, our multilingual (Spanish/English/French) apartment manager Benjamin will meet you at the apartment at the agreed upon time to let you in, show you the place, and give you keys. Benjamin and his family live in the building and they will help you with any apartment or tourism needs during your stay.
