A highlight of the studio is that it has a balcony! There is a little bistro table where you may sit overlooking Calle de la Moneda, a street widely used by pedestrians, and people watch while enjoying a cup of Colombian coffee or Club Colombia beer.
Take a virtual tour of the studio apartment via our slideshow below.
The studio is great for a single person or a couple. It is one room furnished with a double bed, two bedside tables, a stand-alone closet with drawers, and a TV. There is a a full bathroom with rain showerhead plus a mini-kitchen which consists of a sink, microwave, small refrigerator, toaster, electric skillet, and coffee machine, in addition to cabinets with dishes, etc. And the studio has a host of other amenities, such as wifi and air conditioning, listed here.
(Note that it’s possible to connect this studio with the one bedroom apartment via a “hotel door” that locks on both sides; if you rent both apartments, unlock each side and you have a two bedroom/two bath apartment!)
Rates: The per night cost is US$90 for 1-2 people (this studio sleeps a maximum of 2). Rates are higher over the Christmas/New Year’s holiday period. For booking policies & procedures, please visit this page.

The listing is in such a great location in the old historic walled city, and it was so easy to get around from here. We were lucky enough to see a Semana Santa procession from the balcony! The apartment is clean, and the hosts were easy to communicate with. The AC was very much appreciated since Cartagena can be hot and humid! The TV has many great channels too. All around it was a great stay and I'd recommend it 🙂
Thanks so much for the recommendation, Alaina -- hope you can come back sometime!
Barbara contacted us online before we made our reservation and before our check-in date with some information about Cartagena (also handily located in a binder in the room). Thank you, Katie, so glad you had a good stay & that all the recommendations were spot on for you! Come back soon!
This was one of my favorite Airbnb stays. Everything was perfect, from the beautiful yet functional apartment, to the incredibly central location, to the support from the hosts. I can't imagine a better way to experience Cartagena. I had a magical stay here, and definitely plan to come back.
Aw, we are flattered! Thank you very much & we look forward to having you back!
This is an amazing apartment to stay in. All the amenities are great and the host is super helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the old city of Cartagena.
Gracias, Benji!! So glad you both had a great time & liked the apartment (& us! :). Come back soon!
Barbara is a great hostess in a perfect location in Cartagena. Everything is just as described. I loved the location and the apartment. It's perfectly in the heart of all the walled city, but importantly just far enough away from the noise at night for a wonderful night's rest when needed. Thank you. See ya soon!
Gracias, Chris, & for sure it will be hasta pronto!! 🙂
