When I am in Cartagena, Casa Barbara is my home and I rent out the guest bedroom.
The guest bedroom has an ensuite full bath and has the option of either two XL twin beds (1×2 meters/39×78 inches each) or a king bed (2×2 meters/78×78 inches), so it is perfect for one person, two friends or a couple.
Located just a short walk to the Old City in the Cabrero neighborhood, the apartment is on the 15th floor with a balcony that goes the length of the apartment. You’ll love watching the sun set each evening over the Caribbean! You also have a great view north to the Marbella/Crespo area of the coast and beyond, as well as a sneak peak from the balcony at the part of the Old City wall called “La Tenaza.” There are windows in the back of the apartment that give you a view of the Popa, the highest point in Cartagena, as well as the Castillo San Felipe.
The bedroom has a ceiling fan, a brand new mini split air conditioner, night tables, reading lamps, small desk with chair, full length mirror, a private full bath with walk in closet, floor to ceiling sliding glass doors which lead out to the balcony (with black out shades for siestas) & hammock just calling your name….you would have full access to common areas in the apartment, the kitchen, living room, laundry area, and balcony, as well as of course the building pool, sauna, jacuzzi & social area.
Please take a virtual tour of the bedroom and common areas via the slideshow and read on for more details below.
The building was built in 2010 and has 24 hour reception, two elevators, and a pool (15 meters x 4 meters), jacuzzi, sauna, & social area on the 7th floor.
I will be staying in the other bedroom and will be around during your stay. (There may at times be another guest or visiting friend/family member also in the apartment.) I have lived in Cartagena for over two years and would be happy to help in any way I can via email/phone prior to your arrival and during your stay.
